We have completed the firmware update for all Smart Controller C-BR300 devices globally. Devices that were online during the update window have been successfully updated.
New devices and any Smart Controller coming back online will continue to automatically receive the update upon connection.
We will be directly contacting users whose devices remain offline with instructions on how to bring their devices back online and complete the update process.

We have successfully updated 95% of the connected "BR" Smart Controller devices globally. The remaining devices are queued to receive the firmware update within the next 24 hours. Additionally, any new devices or devices reconnecting to the system will automatically receive the update upon connection.

Firmware update for "BR" Smart Controller
An automatic firmware update for Smart Controller C-BR300 units with serial numbers starting with "BR" will begin on March 17, 2025, and will be completed within 5 days. During this time, each Smart Controller may go offline for up to 5 minutes and should reconnect automatically.This update is essential to extend the Smart Controller’s lifespan, as an update to its core system is required for future features, patches, and security updates.
