Identified
Summary WC100 and C-R200 Smart Controllers (serial numbers beginning with PH or PR) may show as offline in the app and may stop responding to the app and voice commands starting October 22, 2026. Use a remote, wand, or manual control. C-BR300 Smart Controllers (serial numbers beginning with BR or SR) are not affected.
Details Possible service interruption affecting certain older Smart Controller models:
- WC100 - C-R200 - Serial numbers beginning with PH or PR
Our cloud service provider for these models has notified us, with very short notice, of a possible service outage beginning on October 22, 2026. We are currently awaiting further communication from the provider regarding options that may avoid the interruption altogether.
C-BR300 Smart Controllers (serial numbers beginning with BR or SR) are not affected. They use a separate cloud service provider and will continue to operate normally.
What may happen If the service interruption occurs, WC100 and C-R200 Smart Controllers may go offline. In that case, you will not be able to:
- Control rooms or blinds, or play scenes, through the app - Rely on schedules, as they will not run while the Smart Controller is offline - Use third-party integrations or rely on automations created through them
Recommended guidance Until we have more information, we recommend using any alternative control method available, such as a wall-mounted or handheld remote control, wand, or manual operation.
What not to do If a Smart Controller goes offline, please do not delete and re-add it in the app. This will not restore the connection.
The Smart Controller, its Wi-Fi connection, and our backend are not causing this issue. The potential interruption relates to the Smart Controller’s access to our external cloud provider. Only the cloud provider can resolve access at that level.
Staying informed We are monitoring the situation continuously and will provide updates through this page. We understand this may be concerning, and we appreciate your patience as we work to get clarity from our service provider.
